Dessa elefanter mötte vi i Slottsparken för en vecka sedan på torsdagen och märkte att Cirkus Scott kommit till stan. Cirkusen var på gång igen efter nio års paus. Lite fundersam blev jag då vi såg elefanterna, eftersom det är förbjudet att ha cirkuselefanter i Finland. Och tror att djur blir ganska oroliga av allt fraktande.

Men vi bestämde oss i alla fall att besöka föreställningen på fredagen. Och jag såg massor fram emot det, eftersom jag senast varit på cirkus för 25 år sedan.

Besöket var super lyckat!! Stämningen på en cirkusföreställning är helt underbar; riktig orkester, doft av popcorn, roliga clowner och skickliga artister. Det som gjorde den här föreställningen lite annorlunda var det faktum att Bamse och hans vänner var med i showen, speciellt barnen gillade denna aspekt.

Tyvärr var tältet halvtomt, men publiken som var där var med på allt och speciellt de tassiga clownerna fick folket med sig.
Skulle ha fungerat väldigt bra även utan cirkusdjuren.
Utanför själva scenområdet fick man träna lindans, hänga på trapets, bli målad till en clown, mm.
Kan inte annat än rekommendera ett besök till Cirkus Scott, som fortsätter sin turné över Sverige i sommar.


Elephants in the middle of Malmö
These elephants we met in the Castle Park in Malmö a week ago on Thursday and noticed that Circus Scott  had arrived to the city. The circus was back after a nine year long break. I was little puzzled when we saw the elephants, because it is forbidden to have circus elephants in Finland. And I believe that animals become quite anxious of all the travelling from one city to another


But we decided anyway to visit the show on Friday. And I was really looking forward to it, since I had last visited a circus more than 25 years ago.
And the visit was an absolute success! The atmosphere of a circus show is absolutely wonderful; real orchestra, smell of popcorn, funny clowns and talented artists. What made this show a little different was the fact that Bamsy and his friends were on the show, especially the children liked this aspect.
Unfortunately the tent was half empty, but the crowd that was there was really into it and especially when the funny clowns turned up.
The show would have worked even without the animals.


Outside the stage area one could practice tightrope walking, hanging on the trapeze, or be painted to a clown, and a lot more.
I warmly recommend a visit to the Circus Scott that is continuing its tour in Sweden this summer.
